This fun team activity can be used to help students practice the past, present and future passive.

Procedure

Language Focus

Divide the class into teams of three.

Past, present and future passive

Tell the students that they are going to complete the beginnings of present simple passive sentences with appropriate sports.

Aim

Give each team a copy of the worksheet and set a time limit.

To complete past, present and future passive sentences with appropriate words.

When the time is up, ask the teams to swap their worksheet with another team for marking. Teams score one point for each correct answer.

Preparation Make one copy of the worksheet for each group of three.

Level Upper-intermediate

Time 25 minutes
