Evidence: The story of bottled water 1. What are the problems derived from drinking bottled water? Mention two problems at least. If we consumed drinking bottled water Eighty percent end up in landfills, where they will sit for thousands of years, or in incinerators, where they are burned, releasing toxic pollution. And if we consumed drinking bottled water, the companies will start with extraction and production where oil is used to make water bottles. Each year, making the plastic water bottles used in the U.S. takes enough oil and energy to fuel a million cars.

2. What is the difference between bottled water and drinking water? Drinking water is stored in reservoirs and carried into homes and offices through pipes; it is managed by local municipalities. Bottled water is packaged in plastic bottles and sold in stores. 3. Describe the process involved in manufacturing a plastic bottle. First the companies extract and produce where oil is used to make water bottles, then they are incinerated in a factory and from there the new bottles arise, after they are distribute around the world 4. What happens with the plastic bottles after we throw them away? If we drink bottled water, the bottled water will be end up in landfills, where they will sit for thousands of years, or in incinerators, where they are burned, and releasing toxic pollution. The rest gets collected for recycling. 5. What solutions can be implemented to solve this problem? If we start with making a personal commitment to not buy or drink bottled water unless the water in the community is truly unhealthy, we can reduce the plastic. Then if we join a campaign that’s working for real solutions, we demand investment in clean tap water for all. 6. Is this problem common in your community? What does the community do to deal with it? This isn't a problem in my community because the drinking water is better than bottled water, because is most decontaminated and inexpensive. 7. Will you drink bottled water again? Why, why not? Yes and not. Yes, because if I need drink water and I haven't, I have to buy bottled water. But If I have the opportunity of drink drinking water, I don't buy it. 8. What will you do in the future to reduce the number of plastic bottles used in the world? Recycle the bottled water if I drank it. Or to do awareness in my community of to try not to drink bottled water
