Thank you for downloading the Print and Play (PnP) version of Escape From The Aliens In Outer Space (EFTAIOS)! If you wish to purchase a physical copy – with extra content and high-quality components – please visit www.eftaios.com The PnP version of EFTAIOS consists of two PDF files: this one, including the printing instructions and the full game, and Cards_Backs_EFTAIOS.pdf, which is only used to print the back of the cards included in this document (see below). You’ll need 16 sheets of paper to print this game. This document includes all you need* for the game: • • •
The Game Manual The Cards (remember to print the backs before cutting) The Maps (download more maps or make your own at www.eftaios.com)
* ALMOST all you need, you’ll need scissors or a paper cutter to cut the cards, some pens or pencils to play, and of course some friends to challenge.
1 Make sure you printed all the materials contained in this PDF: Game Manual, Cards, and Maps. 2 Print the back of the cards. Take the seven sheets you printed the cards on, put them back in the printer, then open Cards_Backs_EFTAIOS.pdf and print its contents. WARNING Make sure your printer is going to print the back of the cards in the right order! To do so, put the sheets with card fronts into the printer tray so that the first page to be printed is #1 and the last is #7. DOUBLE-CHECK WHICH SIDE YOUR PRINTER PRINTS ON WHEN YOU LOAD THE PAPER! 3 Cut the cards using a paper cutter or scissors. The more precise you are, the easier they’ll be to shuffle and handle. 4 Make sure you have the right number of maps printed. When printing this document you’ll get 5 copies of the standard “GALILEI” map for the game. If you wish to play with more than 5 players (recommended up to 8) print more copies of the map. If you wish to play on a different map, or even make your own, please visit www.eftaios.com 5 RECOMMENDED: Play some eerie sci-fi music to get in the mood!
If you are having trouble printing this, or would like to print your cards on thicker paper, feel free to bring these files to your favorite print store and print one copy of the game.
