PAST TENSES Simple form
The past tense
Past refers to an action that has began and ended in the past. Sometimes the action is complete and sometimes the action is taking place in past • There are some forms for the past tense:
Past simple tense:
It refers to an action that is complete. It finished in the past. This action took place before mentioning it.
Regular vs irregular
In past tense, there are two types of verbs in positive form:
Regular verbs:
They are formed by adding D, ED, IED to the present form

Yes /no Question form
In questions, you change the order of the sentence by stating the auxilair DID and then the SUBJECT. Verb always goes in its BASE FORM
Wh / information question form
• The questions that use interrogative words suc as WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, HOW, WHY etc. Follow the same structure that yes/no questions. You need to ADD WH WORD at first
