  Below are the ECM Connectors for 2008 vortec 5.3L harness.  Should be similar for 4.8L 6.2L applications. 

BLOCKS HIGHLIGHTED LIKE THIS, ARE WIRES THAT ARE NEEDED, AND GO TO EXTERNAL CONNECTION FOR STAND ALONE I have also highlighted the 6 wires use TRUCK and CAMARO have two pins swapped on gas pedal, D and F

BLOCKS HIGHLIGHTED LIKE THIS, ARE WIRES THAT CAN BE REMOVED FROM PCM CONNECTORS, NOT NEEDED. Note: Removing all of these will result in a non-e EVAP system, then you will not want to remove those components. WIRES THAT ARE NOT HIGHLIGHTED REMAIN UN TOUCHED.  THEY WILL GO DIRECTLY FROM ECM TO A PLUG, (SENSOR, SWITCH, DEVICE ETC.)
