Variable forming height
The value associated with this position is entered in the tool data of the machine control for variable forming height. Note The tool can work from the so-called "Variable forming height (VU)". The value in millimeters, with the abbreviation "VU=", is engraved on the tool. On machines that work with the inch system, the indicated value must be converted into inches. The forming height must be entered in the "General tool data" at the control. The parameter for this is called "Variable forming height". On some machines it is called "Optimized forming height".
