Cambridge English: Advanced (C1) Level C1-C2 Cambridge examination preparation course Target Group: C1 16.02.–19.05. 2016 Tuesday, Thursday 17:00–18:30 (50 academic hours) Cambridge Advanced Certificate is a high-level internationally recognized qualification in English for demanding academic and professional situations, providing the necessary skills and confidence to work or study in a wide range of international English speaking environments. This course suits students who are already advanced users (C1) and wish to develop their skills in preparation for the exam. The classroom focuses on collaborative learning and interactive speaking and listening assignments. Homework will be given each week to practice reading, use of English (grammar) and writing skills. It is highly recommended that students devote some time to these exercises to maximize chances of exam success. There will be one pre-test and one CAE past paper practice test during the course that students take at appointed dates and which are not included in the course time. Note This is a concise course which thoroughly prepares participants for the examination. It is not mandatory to take the examination at the end of the course, however it is an an excellent way to improve the level of English for personal/academic reasons.
