Do this about 3 times on each side until you reach the look you want. Follow the pictures for help. There is also a youtube video I have for extra help on this process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XoBnTY6k70&t=55s To place the backs of the eyes you will need to remove most of the stuffing to place the washers on the eyes then re stuff it. 40. Sweet Oddity Art 8

Assembly Head and Body: 1. Pin the head onto the body for extra support when sewing. Make sure the bulge for the belly is facing forward. 2. Sew the head onto the body. You may need to add a little more stuffing as you sew.

Sweet Oddity Art 9

Ears: 1. Pinch the ears at the bottom. Sew about 3 stitches up the ear to give a pinched look. 2. Pin the ears onto the head approximately between rows 37 and 39. You may need to adjust for how you stuff the head. 2. Sew the ears onto the head.

Sweet Oddity Art 10

Arms: 1. Pin the arms into a forward angle on the side of the body underneath the neck. There are no certain row placements as I just try to decide based on look where the arms should go. 2. Sew them onto the body. Tip! Closing the seam by crocheting over the opening will make sewing it to the body easier. Also the arms will lay nicely flat, instead of sticking out.

Sweet Oddity Art 11

Legs: 1. Turn the body upside down with the nose facing away from you. 2. Pin the legs onto the bottom of the body. There are no special rows for this, just depends on the look you would like. I don’t place mine in between any special rows. I just judge based on how the individual doll looks. 3. Sew the legs onto the body.

Tail: 1. Pin the tail onto the back of the body. 2. Start sewing the tail on to the back of the body.

Sweet Oddity Art 12

Hat: 1. Make a pom pom out of white yarn. Sew the pom pom on the tip of the hat or you can hot glue the pom pom on the tip of the hat. 2. Place the hat onto the head. Insert the ears inside the chain spaces of the hat. 3. Make sure you have the hat where you like it and sew onto the head to keep it in place.

Embellishments: 1. Add some blush to the cheeks with actual blush or with red crayon. 2. Sew or glue 3 white buttons onto the front of the pajamas.

Sweet Oddity Art 13

Ant: 1. Add some antennaes onto the head. Attach brown yarn to the top of the head with a sl st. Ch 5, dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, sl st in the last 2 chains. Repeat for the 2nd antennae. For the Legs: In a random spot on the bottom of the body, Ch 6, dc in the 3rd chain from the hook, sl st in the last 3 chains. Repeat for 3 more legs. Try to make them evenly spaced to represent legs.

Helpful Tips: Exact Colors and Brand of Yarn Used: 1. Light Gray: I love this yarn Light Gray 2. Dark Gray: Red Heart Charcoal 3. Blue: I love this yarn soft blue 4. Brown: Red Heart Warm Brown 5. Fuzzy yarn: Yarn Bee Snuggle Up Silver Yarn

You can use different eye and nose sizes. You might have to adjust the placements if you change the sizes. You can use different hook sizes and weights of yarn. It will just change the size of your anteater and you might need to adjust eye and nose placement. How you stuff matters! The type of stuffing you use, how you stuff, all this matters on how your anteater turns out. I prefer Polyfil stuffing but you can use other types.
