1. GENIUS: NATURE OR NURTURE? Why are some people geniuses and others are not? Does the enviroment a person is raised in (nurture) create a genius, or is it because the person was simply born that way (nature)? Which part do you think each of these plays in being a genius? 

First, some people do not discovered the ability or talent that become a genius so they do not improve that ability. Also, I think that person was simply born in that way and the nurture improve that talent with the time. In addition, I believe that the two ways, plays an important role in the idea of genius.

What is one special talent or ability that you have? When did you first become aware of it? Did it come naturally, or did you havev to practice a long time to perfect it? Explain. (You may instead answer these questions about someone you know who has a talent or ability? 

An ability that I find very easy to do is draw, I love drawing people. Also when i was a child I liked to draw and was perfecting with time. I remember that I had an art teacher who congratulated me on my drawings, but even with time and practice I was able to make them better, I also consider that it is a family talent because my sisters draw very well too.

Marie curie is considered a genius because she was the first women to receive two nobel prizes. Not many people believe that a women can won something in her time, however in her life she achieved many successes for example she was the first women to work as a profesor at Paris University where she presented her best investigations about chemistry. Another interesting thing happened in 1903 when she won a nobel Prize in physical with her husband and then she won the nobel Prize in chemistry. Also she called to her first chemical element “polonium” that she discovered and she decided to put that name in memory of her oginal country. So, Marie Curie demostrate to every body that all her prizes that she won was with all of her effor and the idea that a women did not have the capacity to won an important Prize was incorrect.
