A sad story of a sad man Una historia triste de un hombre triste One Sunday evening two men met in a London pub. One of them was very unhappy. Un domingo por la tarde dos hombres se encontraron en una taberna en Londres. Uno de ellos era muy infeliz.

‘Life is terrible, everything in the world is really boring’, he said. “La vida es terrible, todo en el mundo es muy aburrido”, dijo.

‘Don’t say that’, said de other man. ‘Life is wonderful! The world is so exciting! Think about Italy. “No digas eso”, dijo el otro hombre.” ¡La vida es maravillosa! ¡El mundo es tan emocionante! Piense en Italia.

It’s a wonderful country. Have you ever been there?’ Es un maravilloso país. ¿Alguna vez has estado allí?”

‘Oh, yes. I went there last year and I didn’t like it’. “Oh, sí. Fui allí el año pasado y no me gusto”

‘Well, have you been to Norway? Have you ever seen the midnight sun?’ “Así, ¿Alguna vez has estado en Noruega? ¿Alguna vez has visto el sol de medianoche?”

‘Oh, yes. I went there for my honeymoon and we saw the midnight sun. I didn’t enjoy it’. “Oh, sí. Fui allí para mi luna de miel y vi el sol de medianoche. Yo no lo disfrute”.

‘Well, I have just returned from a safari in Africa. Have you visited Africa yet?’ “Bueno, yo acabo de regresar de un safari en África. ¿Ha visitado África todavía?”

‘Yes, I went on safari in East Africa last year and I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. It was really boring’ “Si, me fui de safari en el Este de África el año pasado y me subí al monte Kilimanjaro. Era muy aburrido”

‘Well’, said the other man, ‘I think that you’re very ill. Only the best Psychiatrist in London can help you. “Bueno”, dijo el otro hombre, “Creo que estas muy enfermo. Solo el mejor psiquiatra en Londres puede ayudarte.

Go to see Dr. Greenbaum in Harley Street’. ‘But I am Dr. Greenbaum‘, answered the man sadly. Vaya a ver al Dr. Greenbaum en la calle Harley”. “Pero yo soy el Dr. Greenbaum”, respondió el hombre con tristeza
