A day out

Writing task: Write a blog post Write a blog post about a day out that you had with friends. It can be a typical day out or a special day out. Write around 150 words. Use the Useful language and the notes you made in the Engage task to help you prepare.

Tip  A blog post is usually neutral in style. Plan what you want to say and think about the language you want to use. Make some notes before you start. Use a mindmap or draw pictures to help you be creative. Then, write your text. Follow this structure: • Paragraph 1: Give some information about when, where, and who. • Paragraph 2: Say what you did and what happened. • Paragraph 3: Say how the day ended and how you felt.

Check it!  Read your blog post and check it’s organized clearly and makes sense. Then read it again and check for grammar, vocabulary and spelling errors.

After that we entered the sea, it was very fun we played game, we made sandcastles, while I was walking on the beach I found a sea snail. In the afternoon we went to eat ceviche, it was delicious. When we left the restaurant we saw a concert that I was playing then we stayed to see each other. At night we returned to our house the journey was very heavy because we were very tired, when we arrived we were all sleeping. We showered for dinner. We finally put a netflix movie but nobody finished watching it and in the end we all went to sleep.
