Independent work in a garment workshop of which I am the owner; It is located in the municipality of San Marcos, Sucre. It is a quiet, cool, organized place, with a family atmosphere, where I have different types of sewing machines, clothing textiles, a table for drawing lines and other necessary materials.

3. What responsibilities do you have at work? -

I am responsible for making and offering underwear for ladies, youth and girls, making and selling pajamas for ladies of different models.

I get up at 5:30 am, organize the workshop and the necessary material to make the different garments, I clean and lubricate the different machines when required, I trace the garments that I will make during the day, I pay attention to the different clients who visit the workshop. These activities are carried out from Monday to Friday in the morning.

If I like my work because I learned it from my childhood and through it I can offer clients good quality garments, which are difficult to find in the business where I live.

As a dressmaker, I consider myself a creative, innovative, thoughtful and enterprising person.

One of the weaknesses I have for this job is that sometimes it is difficult for me to make some fashions.

• How was your first day at work? 

My first day at work was wonderful, I felt very happy to be working in my own business, since this was a dream I had for a long time.
